YWCA NH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Our volunteers are an important asset to our organization and do a remarkable job helping in almost every capacity of our organization.  Last year, YWCA NH hosted 268 volunteers who contributed more than 7,150 hours of service.  We couldn’t do it without their commitment and support!

Crisis Line Advocate – Provide advocacy and support on our 24-hour crisis hotline and education and outreach.

Front Desk Support

Classification: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
Pay Range: $15.00 per hour/$25 per hour for weekend event coverage (Saturday and Sunday)
Department: Administration

The Front Desk Support will be the first person to greet clients when they call or enter YWCA NH. They will provide reception, information, and assistance to general public, as well as administrative support to the management team.

Direct Service Advocate

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $19.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The Direct Service Advocate will provide general crisis services to victim/survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children in the Greater Manchester area. They will also collaborate with community partners, work with volunteers, and participate in reporting needs of the program.

Digital Literacy ESOL Instructor

Classification: Temporary, Grant Funded
Pay Range: $26.00 per hour
Department: YWCA NH, Center for New Americans

YWCA NH is currently seeking a Digital Literacy ESOL Instructor to assist the SNHU Center for New Americans in establishing and teaching a Digital Literacy course for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program. This class will serve community adult ESOL learners in the Manchester, NH area

RISE Housing Program Manager

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $23.00-27.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The RISE Housing Program Manager oversees the housing programs of YWCA New Hampshire, including program implementation and collaborating on operations implementation. They will work to develop housing programs in response to the needs of the clients and community.

Community Education Advocate

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The role of the Community Education Advocate is to raise awareness in the community through outreach and education on issues of domestic and sexual violence to improve community service provision for victims and increase community support for REACH Crisis Services.
