YWCA NH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Our volunteers are an important asset to our organization and do a remarkable job helping in almost every capacity of our organization.  Last year, YWCA NH hosted 268 volunteers who contributed more than 7,150 hours of service.  We couldn’t do it without their commitment and support!

Volunteer Opportunities

Crisis Line Advocate – Provide advocacy and support on our 24-hour crisis hotline and education and outreach.

Back Up Advocate

Classification: Part-Time
24-Hour Shift Rates: $50 or $75
Department: REACH Crisis Services

Provide direct services to victims of domestic and sexual violence through support, information, resource referral and personal advocacy based on the empowerment model.

 

Child Focused Community Education Advocate

Classification: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The role of the Child-Focused Community Education Advocate is to raise awareness in the community through outreach and education on issues of domestic and sexual violence to improve community service provision for victims and increase community support for REACH Crisis Services.
