Our volunteers are an important asset to our organization and do a remarkable job helping in almost every capacity of our organization.  Last year, YWCA NH hosted 268 volunteers who contributed more than 7,150 hours of service.  We couldn’t do it without their commitment and support!

Direct Service Advocate

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The Direct Service Advocate will provide general crisis services to victim/survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children in the Greater Manchester area. They will also collaborate with community partners, work with volunteers, and participate in reporting needs of the program.

Shelter Support Staff

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week), Part Time (20 hours per week), and Per Diem
Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00  per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

Responsible for shelter services to include the safety and supervision of shelter participants, shelter property, meals served during your shift, and assigned volunteers. Support the intake and discharge of shelter guests.

Diversity, Accessibility, and Equity Advocate

Classification: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour
Department: REACH Crisis Services

The Diversity, Accessibility, and Equity (DAE) Advocate will provide general crisis services to victim/survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children in the Greater Manchester area, with a specific focus on supporting survivors from diverse cultural backgrounds, while providing racial justice and equity programming at YWCA NH. The DAE Advocate will collaborate with community partners and volunteers for educational and social opportunities about racial justice and equity issues.

Accounting Manager/Grant Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager/Grant Manager
Classification: Full Time
Hours: 40 hours/ week
Compensation: $65,000/annually
Reports to: CEO

YWCA New Hampshire seeks a Controller/Grant Accountant to support a broad range of financial operations responsibilities. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, exhibit superior accounting skills and demonstrate significant skill in tracking and allocating multiple grants in a dynamic work environment. 

Candidates may be required to exhibit accounting competency by successfully completing an accounting examination.
